Account & Data Deletion

How users of the Gangnam Rabbit (com.gangnam.rabbit) app can request deletion of their account and personal data.

1. Delete your account in the app

While signed in to the Gangnam Rabbit app, you can delete your account (and associated data) directly through the path below.

Launch the Gangnam Rabbit app and sign in
Go to My Page
Select Account Settings
Select Delete Account
Review the notice and complete deletion

Once deletion is complete, your data is removed and processed according to the policy below without any further request.

2. Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app or otherwise cannot delete your account directly, you may request account deletion via the email below. We process requests after verifying your identity.

Body: Information that allows us to verify your identity, such as the phone number or nickname used at sign-up

After your request is received, it is processed following identity verification, and we will reply with the result.

3. Data that is deleted and retained

Upon account deletion, personally identifiable information is irreversibly anonymized after a grace period of approximately one month. However, information that must be retained under applicable laws is kept for the legally required period and then destroyed.

Deleted / anonymized data

Personally identifiable information including profile data (nickname, gender, date of birth, address, occupation, etc.), profile and verification photos, location data, chat messages, and device identifiers — irreversibly anonymized after an approximately one-month grace period.

Data retained under applicable laws

Information required to be preserved under laws such as the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, including payment and transaction records — retained for the legally required period and then destroyed.
